Abbreviations: LA Linoleic acid, AA Arachidonic acid, n-6DPA n-6 Docosapentaenoic acid, ALA α-Linolenic acid, DHA Docosahexaenoic acid, ref reference group. Numbers in categories may not sum up to 1572 due to missing data, e.g. data on CRP and AGP were available for 1541 children, on fever from 1570, on malaria from 1565. *p<0.05; **p<0.01
