The EPR spectrum of Trolox ® phenoxyl radical. EPR spectrum of the Trolox® phenoxyl radical formed upon addition of copper to a system of [Trolox®] = 2.8 mM and [H2O2] = 1.7 mM in carbonate buffer, pH 7.2. (blue) copper added as CuSO4 (98 μM); (red) copper-AAOS. The isotropic EPR spectrum of the Trolox® phenoxyl radical is described by hyperfine splittings: a(CH3) = 5.2 G, and a(CH3) = 3.9 G, as reported in [26, 33], with other hyperfine splittings not resolvable under our experimental conditions.
